5 delicious, quick and unusual breakfasts for feeding nursing mothers

During breastfeeding, the baby’s mother eats for two. This means that the diet should be varied, rich, but with restrictions. For example, some foods are not recommended for nursing mothers; it is definitely better to avoid coffee in the morning.

We know that when a baby appears in the house, there is critically not enough time even to prepare breakfast. Therefore, the Russian brand YokoSun has prepared 5 breakfast recipes for nursing mothers that can be easily and, most importantly, quickly repeated at home.

Granola with yogurt

Ingredients:

  • Yogurt (without sweeteners, dyes or additives, natural is better), 2 cups
  • Granola, 1 cup
  • Honey, 1 tsp
  • Pear, 100 g.

Perhaps the simplest of all existing breakfast recipes. But fast does not mean tasteless.

In order to prepare granola with yogurt, first mix the fermented milk product with honey and prepare the pear: wash it and cut it into small slices.

Pour two tablespoons of yogurt into a bowl or large glass, add two tablespoons of granola, place a pear on top. Fill everything with yogurt again, add granola and pear - about 2-3 layers until the bowl is full. Leave the resulting breakfast in the refrigerator for 10 minutes and enjoy a delicious breakfast.

Oatmeal pancake with tomatoes and cheese

Ingredients:

  • Oatmeal, 4 tbsp. l.
  • Milk, 50 ml.
  • Chicken egg, 1 pc.
  • Tomato, 1 pc.
  • Light curd cheese, 30 g

For a homogeneous consistency of the pancake, oatmeal can be ground in a blender. But if there is absolutely no time, this step is not necessary at all. In a bowl, mix the cereal, milk and egg, you can add a pinch of salt to taste.

Pour the contents of the bowl into the heated frying pan without adding oil. Fry the resulting pancake on each side for 3-4 minutes. Without removing the dish from the pan, add cheese and pre-chopped tomato to one half of the pancake. Cover the filling with the second half of the pancake and remove breakfast from the heat.

The filling for the oatmeal pancake can be changed. For example, add avocado, chicken breast or lettuce to it.

Lazy buckwheat with milk

Ingredients:

  • Buckwheat, 80 g.
  • Milk, 100 ml.
  • Salt, to taste

Many housewives know that it is not necessary to cook buckwheat in a saucepan; there is a simpler recipe. This is exactly what a nursing mother needs - breakfast, for the preparation of which you do not need to stand at the stove at all.

In the evening, rinse the cereal under water, pour it into a heat-resistant container and pour boiling water over it. The buckwheat will be ready in the morning. All that remains is to fill it with milk and heat it in the microwave.

Boiled cheesecakes

Ingredients:

  • Cottage cheese, 200 g.
  • Egg, 1 pc.
  • Flour, 60 g
  • Semolina, 40 g
  • Raisins, 30 g.

This unusual recipe will definitely surprise you. Place the cottage cheese in a bowl and mash it thoroughly with a fork or use a blender. Then add the egg to it and thoroughly mash the mass again. Add flour and semolina, mix the contents of the bowl.

Rinse the raisins and pour them into the resulting dough, mix again. Start pinching off pieces from the mass and roll them into balls with a diameter slightly larger than a five-ruble coin.

When all the cheesecakes have taken their shape, add them to boiling water and leave for 5-7 minutes. Carefully remove them from the water and enjoy an unusual breakfast.

Oatmeal with herbs and Parmesan

Ingredients:

  • Oat flakes, 80 g.
  • Mixture of greens (parsley, dill, spinach - combination to taste), 100 g.
  • Parmesan cheese, 60 g
  • Butter, 10 g
  • Salt, to taste

This recipe is suitable for real gourmets - agree, we are used to combining oatmeal with sweet ingredients. Try this recipe with cheese and herbs: believe me, you will definitely not remain indifferent. This breakfast is also easy to prepare.

First, boil the oatmeal in water: bring 300 ml of water to a boil in a saucepan, and then add the oatmeal. Cook the porridge over low heat for about two minutes.

Add herbs to the porridge and continue cooking for about 5 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and add the butter to it, stirring the contents thoroughly. Place breakfast on a plate, sprinkling the porridge with grated Parmesan and dill.

Many mothers are afraid of accidentally harming their baby while breastfeeding - for example, eating something “wrong”. But during this wonderful period of motherhood, it is not at all necessary to deprive yourself of delicious joys. Diversify your diet and try unusual combinations of familiar foods.
